This is a very important blog/journal, so please read.

The MA Admins have been talking and we have realized that we want the group to be more focused around "higher education and learning". We recently opened the gallery to all, but we have decided to return to how things used to be. People are focusing on getting their art into the "Best" folder instead of focusing on what they could improve on. Don't worry; it's not your fault! (It’s completely natural) We are closing the gallery to everything that's not Tutorials, Lessons, and Materials to keep everyone concentrated on learning.

Yes everything is going back to how they used to be, we realized our greater purpose as a group is to help You learn!! Not to show off Art or get Favorites, but to actually learn and improve. This greater Purpose in mind, we shall be starting a new mini event in 1 day!!
We are all ears for your suggestions! The best way to improve this group is to know what you expect from it.

One thing we can always take comments on is the Favs Folder.  What is the Fav folder? Why is it there? Do we need one? Should it stay, or should we empty it? We really don't know, yes we have some ideas, inferred or implied, but we want your ideas!! feel free to draw it in our comments!

4,000... Wow

Im going to go on a little rant and quite honestly a loving glory of what MA has become.  Feel free to skim or pass on to comments!

As the MA founder, I have found much meaning in art.  I find as much joy in art as many do while listening to the Beatles or reading Poe.  The language of Art has given my life new meaning, not to mention the elemental or classical delusions of a higher meaning in my life.  Think about it, have you ever counted to 4,000... Bloody hell no!! I look at essays that I have written so long ago about my thoughts and my feelings and realized how MA has changed me. Here's a good quote that I wrote following a gracious period in my mind.

"Quick and elaborately my self conscience is not up for the type cast of trying new styles or rolls... and the sum of my discourses is mine and mine alone. The classical ruin of my thoughts are not up for the stimulation of some third party, English is for all of us, a native thought provoking idea. Not up for sorrowing debate by renewed classical yet elegant people." - JP Fairchild

Why would I say that! Like I didn't want to most commonly share my inner thoughts with the world.  Art brings upon itself new aromas of quiet but most atomistic brilliance at its core.  Its loves and nurtures, but more importantly teaches us about ourselves... we write, draw, and film to show the anguish of our feelings, and the analogy of our minds.  MA has shown me that the Roman philosopher Seneca was right in the most stimulating of ways. He said "Make this your business: learn how to feel joy...true joy, believe me, is a serious thing.”

Sometimes I forget what I do and must revive what I believe, and its about time to stop this rant and say... Thank You the members of Manga Academy!!
