Yes im Sure we can do that!! As I type we are in the middle of choosing the Winner!! I just put in my Join request for #iterators!! What a coincidence!!
i sort of hand an idea *points to entry* but there's parts of it I don't like and couldn't figure out what to do about. the idea to make it look like a manga page came too late, all i have is like a sketch of the idea.
That was kinda the goal with this one since this was my first time with journal skins. And I did think content was better do the the lack. Already having problems with figuring how to hover and stuff like that. I know how to do on the web but the little adjustments for dA...
hover's aren't hard, just use :hover. i favor moving the bg for buttons and such. I wish css could change the src of an image but it can't. you need like JS for that. idk, I took to css really well. I still have to reference things, but that's cuz they made it so there's too much to remember. Like making it not underlines, making it italic, and making it bold i think are 3 different things/selectors. as it is now, css isn't a language you write without a reference, unless you're just that good at remembering things like that.
adjustments for dA? the only adjustment I've had to make is instead of putting classes together like .gr, .gr-top {css: one-time;} I have to put .gr {css: once; } .gr-top {copied: pasted-css;} which is kinda annoying, but it's part of how they change the code so it only changes the journal and not everything else.
