It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

To all Members, Do to the overflow of Deviations in your and our Mailboxes, we have decided to Cut down the Members Area to a few (But Still Awesome) Aspects. Plus we are going to open the Student Teacher program Soon!! Get excited!! You might be the next MangaAcademy Teacher!!

Numero Uno...

:bulletblue: We will have a critique folder in the faves area. Suggest one of your pieces you want Critiqued, and The Members and Admins (Me ;)) will Critique them!! Do not be mad if you dont get a critique right away!! We all have other lives!! ;P

:bulletblue: Members Area Tutorials and Materials will be merged into the main folders. We'll be transfering them. You Can still Submit Tutorials, Lessons and Materials Alike!! :love:

:bulletpurple: I'll double check with linearts whether Members Linearts shall be treated the same way as the Tutorials and Materials or if we're gonna transfer them into the faves folder as well... (since we have a MA folder for linearts...)

Sorry for the inconveniences. However, we need to go back to our roots. This groups is about teaching and learning from each other...not showcasing your own work. Just a reminder, you'll still be able to submit to homeworks, tutorials, materials...

Damn, I missed the change on this...no wonder student teacher program....

Yeah, we should open all the fave folders that I created, shut down the top homeworks folder, open the materials and tutorials folders for all (at least the main one and I can organize them...)...and I guess trash the rest of members area as soon as possible.

Seems fair to me.
Although I am a bit skeptical toward the lineart thingy. I mean, they are already some groups which does an awesome job with linearts, so I don't think MA should do it too. They're is a risk that we get overflown with linearts in the end. :/
